Bumble and bumble is recruiting a multi-branded freelance beauty advisor to deliver personalized consultations and inspirational customer experiences across prestige beauty brands at Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations. The role combines expert product knowledge with visual merchandising execution and event management to drive sales, educate customers on application techniques, and maintain brand standards in a dynamic retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers across multiple brand portfolios
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor to ensure brand visibility and competitive differentiation
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and sales
• Maintain active product knowledge of brand offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach and bend, and handle merchandise up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Previous retail or beauty industry experience preferred. Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution strongly valued.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty, cosmetics, or retail certifications are advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 36 per hour.
