This on-call freelance position with Randstad supports multiple prestige beauty brands (The Ordinary, NIOD, Dr. Jart+, Bumble and bumble, and Origins) across Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations in Birmingham, Alabama. The advisor will deliver personalized beauty consultations, execute visual merchandising standards, lead in-store promotional events, and educate customers on product benefits while driving sales in a dynamic retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality beauty consultations and customer service to in-store guests
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques
- Collaborate with store staff to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
- Drive sales through impactful in-store visits, events, and key focus days
- Create engaging consumer experiences and partner with store teams on brand education
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle product packaging and display materials up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail sales environments and customer-facing service execution is beneficial.
