Bumble and bumble seeks Assistant Planner, Sales Planning – Haircare in New York. Support wholesale account planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own sales and inventory planning for Tier 2 wholesale accounts, including forecasting, replenishment, and in-season management
- Build and maintain Stock & Sales Plans, incorporating distribution changes, promotions, and launches
- Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust forecasts accordingly
- Partner with Sales and Account Management on sales expectations and shipment plans
- Support the Senior Manager in maintaining Stock & Sales Plans for Tier 1 accounts and seasonal planning materials
- Manage replenishment and inventory flow for Tier 2 accounts, including forecast exceptions and weeks on hand metrics
- Analyze data to identify out-of-stock risks, inventory imbalances, and reorder opportunities
- Own PO tracking for assigned accounts, ensuring forecast and inventory alignment
- Monitor order status, receipts, cancellations, and changes; flag risks and follow up with partners
- Own planning support for launches across Tier 2 accounts, including setup, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Maintain assortment tools, SKU trackers, and pricing updates
- Build standardized reports and dashboards for the planning team, providing insights on trends and opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Customer Service on forecasts and inventory execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in planning, allocation, supply chain, operations, finance, merchandising, or related field; internships accepted
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with ability to manage large datasets
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities

Experience
1–2 years of experience in planning, allocation, supply chain, operations, finance, merchandising, or related field; internships are accepted.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
