Bulgari seeks an experienced Watch Technician in Shanghai to manage watch repair, polishing, and personalized engraving services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute finishing processes including polishing, brushing, sandblasting, and rhodium removal on watch cases, bracelets, and clasps across varied precious metal materials (platinum, gold, copper, steel)
- Select and apply appropriate polishing compounds based on material specifications and finish requirements
- Perform disassembly and preparation of watch cases prior to finishing work, including careful removal of crystals, pushers, and water-resistance tubes
- Conduct ultrasonic cleaning and drying of finished components to precise specifications
- Perform entry-level watch repairs including water-resistance ring replacement, component exchanges, and quartz battery replacement
- Operate laser engraving equipment to execute personalized engravings on jewelry items per customer specifications
- Maintain meticulous quality standards and documentation throughout all repair and restoration processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in watch polishing and finishing
- Mastery of polishing, brushing, sandblasting, and rhodium removal techniques across precious metals
- Capability to independently execute water-resistance ring replacement, component replacement, and quartz battery replacement
- Strong communication and collaborative team skills
- Precision-oriented with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Demonstrated willingness to continuously enhance technical capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in watch polishing, finishing, and related horological craftsmanship. Practical expertise in executing specialized finishing processes across precious metals and alloys is essential.
Education
