Bulgari seeks a Watch Case Constructor at its Saignelégier Manufacture in Switzerland, leading innovative case development and cross-functional projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and design new watch cases, conducting pre-feasibility studies to evaluate development complexity and assess Product department requests
  • Establish technical dossiers reconciling technical specifications, industrial constraints, and aesthetic criteria
  • Manage all project data—CAO drawings, technical plans, component specifications—ensuring accuracy within PLM systems for cases and sub-components in compliance with internal standards
  • Serve as the primary interface between technical functions (product development, design, manufacturing engineering, prototyping workshops, quality assurance, after-sales service) and external component suppliers
  • Oversee prototype delivery against defined criteria and established timelines
  • Pilot resolution of cross-functional technical issues identified by quality assurance, after-sales service, or production, ensuring durable and effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the Research & Innovation team to propose novel and ambitious solutions in case construction, supporting patent applications and intellectual property protection

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in watch case design and development
  • Advanced proficiency in CAO software, preferably CREO
  • Demonstrated expertise with Windchill (PDM Link) systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machining processes and industrialization constraints
  • Strong grasp of functional design methodology, including tolerance chains, ISO GPS dimensioning, and assembly optimization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to understand and address cross-departmental needs
  • Proven capacity to inspire confidence and command respect within technical teams
  • High analytical and organizational capability with meticulous attention to detail

Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in watch case design and development, demonstrating mastery of CAO software (preferably CREO), Windchill (PDM Link), machining processes, and industrialization constraints including functional design principles, tolerance chains, and ISO GPS specifications.

Education

Technical training or diploma in mechanical engineering, watch design, or equivalent engineering discipline.
