Bulgari Japan seeks a Trade Marketing Associate Manager in Chuo-ku, Tokyo to lead channel promotions and partner activations for watches & jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning and execution of trade promotional campaigns, in-store activations and project-based initiatives (brand and sales events), ensuring alignment with Bulgari brand standards and global strategy.
- Manage end-to-end project timelines and deliverables for assigned initiatives, coordinating internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet launch deadlines.
- Develop and deliver partner training and enablement materials to distributors and retailers to maximise retail execution and customer experience.
- Manage sales support tools and promotional materials: control production and distribution volumes, review translations for brand tone and accuracy, and propose optimisations.
- Oversee on-site operations for event/set-up/dismantle and in-store installations, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to presentation standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retail partners; prepare promotional proposals, cost estimates and pre/post-event reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with Rome HQ and cross-functional teams (Marketing & Communication and other departments) to progress local/global projects and ensure consistent reporting.
- Monitor event budgets and KPIs, measure ROI and identify cost efficiencies through supplier evaluation and expense control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in trade marketing, retail promotions or events; 5+ years preferred, ideally within luxury goods, watches or jewellery.
- Demonstrable experience working with distributors, wholesalers and multisite retail partners.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives and external suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and working proficiency in English.
- Analytical capability to monitor KPIs, track budgets and report ROI; attention to detail and strong organisational discipline.
- Commercial mindset, proactive problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.

Minimum three years of relevant trade marketing, retail promotion or events experience; five or more years preferred, with prior exposure to luxury goods, watches/jewellery or premium retail channels and demonstrable interaction with distributors and retail partners.
Education
