Bulgari Technical Workshop and Product Manager in Dublin, Ireland. Lead jewelry rework operations, manage specialist team, ensure quality excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the rework shop, managing workload, priorities, and service levels while supervising and coaching a team of seven skilled professionals
- Assess jewelry quality issues, determine root causes, and define appropriate repair or rework solutions to meet brand and customer expectations
- Partner with supply chain planning to align rework priorities with business needs and monitor output, turnaround times, quality performance, and team productivity
- Deliver hands-on technical guidance on polishing, finishing, repair, and quality standards while acting as escalation point for complex rework concerns
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing plants in Italy and Switzerland on technical issues, training needs, and process improvements
- Build and manage relationships with predominantly Italian suppliers and external partners, overseeing performance against agreed SLAs
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of all workshop equipment, including preventative, reactive, and proactive maintenance schedules
- Lead health and safety risk management activities, including risk assessments, safety walks, and incident reporting within the workshop environment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety, efficiency, and capability by developing SOPs, work instructions, and technical standards
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and technical training programs to build and develop a high-performing team
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated expertise in the jewelry sector specializing in workshop operations, jewelry repair, polishing, and quality control
- Proven experience leading or supervising technical and production teams in a specialist workshop environment
- Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing, finishing, polishing, repair, and quality control standards
- Experience assessing jewelry quality issues and determining effective repair solutions
- Knowledge of machinery maintenance practices and commissioning, testing, and validation procedures
- Proficiency in health and safety risk management and machinery safety training
- Experience with chemical management, SOP creation, documentation control, and contractor/supplier management
- Familiarity with CE marking equipment management and compliance requirements

Experience
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated expertise in the jewelry sector, specializing in workshop operations including jewelry repair, polishing, quality control, and basic watch repair services. Proven experience assessing jewelry quality issues and determining effective repair solutions. Experience leading or supervising technical or production teams in a specialist workshop environment and working with manufacturing plants and suppliers, ideally including Italian partners.
Education
Degree, diploma, or technical qualification in Jewelry and Quality or a related discipline is preferred. Formal health and safety qualifications are advantageous.
