Bulgari Neuchâtel seeks Sustainability Engineer with 3+ years expertise in regulatory compliance, due diligence, and packaging sustainability for LVMH Perfume Division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical compliance of sustainability product regulations including PPWR, Green Claims Directive, EUDR, CSRD, and CS3D, translating complex requirements into actionable business strategies and product development guidelines
  • Monitor regulatory landscapes and proactively identify potential impacts and opportunities for products and operations; develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Develop and execute a strategy to ensure full compliance with due diligence standards, integrating environmental and social responsibility into core business activities, decision-making processes, and management systems
  • Design integrated systems and processes for collecting sustainability data applicable to both due diligence management and reporting
  • Conduct environmental and social audits in collaboration with Purchasing and Quality teams to assess negative impacts on human rights and the environment throughout the value chain, and manage resulting corrective action plans
  • Oversee continuous improvement and monitoring of the climate transition plan in alignment with global climate goals and Group sustainability commitments; monitor effectiveness of due diligence processes and promote continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance to Creative and Development teams to minimize environmental impact of designs, packaging materials, and processes
  • Manage key performance indicators monitoring packaging environmental performance via Power BI; handle emission factors and matching across multiple tools including EdiBox, Power BI, and Tennaxia
  • Conduct impact assessments of new regulations and LVMH Charter of Commitment updates; provide distributors, business partners, and markets with data needed to fulfill EPR obligations and other packaging-related requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sustainability and regulatory compliance
  • Thorough understanding of current and emerging sustainability regulations and compliance frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of due diligence principles and environmental/social audit methodologies
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Knowledge or practical experience in packaging engineering (advantageous)
  • Fluency in both French and English; additional languages an asset
