Bvlgari seeks Strategic Purchaser & Project Manager in Neuchâtel, Switzerland—manage procurement and supplier relations for luxury watch manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers meeting strategic requirements through competitive bidding and comprehensive vendor assessment
- Negotiate supply terms including cost, quality, lead time, payment conditions, and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular audits, manage vendor risks, and ensure adherence to Group compliance and corporate social responsibility standards
- Deploy procurement strategy from sourcing through industrialisation and production launch
- Coordinate project timelines with product managers to meet Time-to-Market objectives
- Oversee order placement, manage delivery and invoice discrepancies, and resolve quality issues with suppliers
- Maintain accurate data in procurement management systems, verify cost pricing, product nomenclatures, and component specifications
- Manage product traceability and ensure full compliance with customs and environmental regulations applicable to the Maison
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with a specialisation in procurement or supply chain management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role within the industrial sector
- Native French speaker with fluent English language proficiency
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication and diplomatic negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
