Bulgari seeks a Store Planning Project Coordinator for a temporary maternity cover role in Rome, Italy, managing retail projects across multiple channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate Store Planning projects (DOS, Franchisee, Wholesale) from conception to shop opening, preparing project schedules with key milestones and ensuring timely execution with local technical specialists
- Prepare Recco calendars and meetings, drafting and circulating construction budgets to relevant departments
- Verify investment plans with Financial & Administration, Managing Directors, and Commercial Teams
- Monitor SAO/SEA region activities while acquiring in-depth market knowledge regarding technical permits, local regulations, cultural nuances, and retail/wholesale characteristics
- Monitor local team activities to ensure project progress aligns with timing and cost control objectives
- Coordinate continuously with Interior Design and Creative teams to provide feedback on concept refinement and cost/sqm reduction through dedicated analyses
- Oversee layout approval processes and maintain accountability for design sign-offs
- Manage bidding procedures following Interior Design guidelines; prepare, dispatch, and follow up on purchase orders and supplier contracts while monitoring delivery schedules
- Generate and distribute monthly project status recaps and conduct monthly conference calls with Country Managing Directors
- Provide global coordination on special rollout projects including lining, accessories, perfume, and lighting installations
- Collect and validate material samples from new suppliers
- Ensure effective project coordination and information sharing with local technical specialists while maintaining process, organizational, and strategic alignment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Store Planning, retail design, or project coordination within the luxury sector
- Degree in Engineering or Architecture
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages preferred
- Proficiency in IT applications including Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Project
- Technical background with meticulous attention to detail in engineering, prototypes, and materials research
- Strong knowledge of project management and planning methodologies
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience within Store Planning, retail design coordination, or project management, preferably in the luxury brands sector, encompassing project lifecycle management from initial concept through operational launch.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture, or equivalent professional qualification.
