Store Planning Coordinator (maternity cover) – Bulgari, Rome. Temporary hybrid role managing retail projects across SAO/SEA.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Store Planning projects (DOS, Franchisee, Wholesale) from conception to shop opening, establishing project schedules with key milestones and ensuring adherence to timelines in collaboration with local technical specialists
  • Prepare Recco calendars and meetings, draft and distribute construction budgets to all relevant departments
  • Verify investment plans with Finance & Administration, Managing Directors, and Commercial Teams
  • Monitor SAO/SEA region activities and develop in-depth market knowledge encompassing technical factors (permit lead times, local regulations), cultural considerations, and retail/wholesale dynamics
  • Oversee progress of local team activities to ensure work completion aligns with project timing and cost budgets
  • Maintain continuous coordination with Interior Design and creative teams to provide feedback on concept refinement and cost-per-sqm optimization through detailed cost analyses
  • Manage the layout approval process and hold accountability for sign-off
  • Execute the bidding process following Interior Design guidelines; prepare, dispatch, and track purchase order documents and supplier contracts while monitoring delivery schedules
  • Generate and distribute monthly project status recaps and conduct monthly conference calls with Country Managing Directors
  • Lead global coordination on specialized rollout projects (lining, accessories, perfume, lighting, etc.)
  • Collect and validate material samples from new suppliers
  • Ensure effective project coordination and information sharing with local technical specialists while maintaining alignment with organizational processes and strategic objectives

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in store planning or related field, preferably within luxury brands
  • Fluency in Italian and English (additional languages advantageous)
  • Proficiency in IT applications including Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Project
  • Technical background with demonstrated expertise in engineering, prototypes, and new materials research
  • Project management and planning methodology expertise

Experience
