Bulgari seeks Senior PR Manager for Jewelry in Shanghai—lead press relations, celebrity endorsements, and luxury brand communications in this senior role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee external PR agencies, providing strategic direction and ensuring all media inquiries are handled promptly and professionally; monitor agency performance against KPIs to guarantee consistent, high-quality coverage across print and digital outlets
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior editors, key journalists, and top-tier influencers to secure strong brand visibility and influence media narratives
- Lead the creation and distribution of press kits, official statements, and press releases for key commercial seasons and brand milestones, ensuring alignment with global messaging and local market relevance
- Develop and author local press releases, media pitches, official statements, and brand narratives for jewelry collections, high jewelry events, boutique openings, and strategic milestones
- Translate and localize global press releases and corporate communications into Chinese, maintaining message consistency, cultural relevance, and luxury tone of voice
- Spearhead the celebrity dressing strategy to elevate the jewelry category through talent identification, product selection, and red-carpet placement for awards shows, film festivals, premieres, and high-profile moments
- Lead end-to-end celebrity dressing logistics, including jewelry selection, on-site support, post-event return, and performance tracking
- Drive celebrity cover-shooting opportunities with top-tier magazines and media platforms, strategically placing jewelry across print, digital, and social channels
- Lead the local High Jewelry event PR strategy and execution, including press activities, media previews, press conferences, and one-on-one interviews with brand spokespersons
- Oversee PR components of jewelry exhibitions, film festival activations, and brand events, including media invitations, press materials, on-site management, and post-event reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Omni-Channel, Retail, Merchandising, Global PR) and external agencies to ensure seamless PR execution across all event touchpoints
- Manage event PR budgets, timelines, and vendor coordination to deliver all activities on time, on budget, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Monitor and report on event PR performance, including media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and ROI, providing actionable insights for future strategy refinement
- Lead the contract lifecycle for jewelry PR-related activities, negotiating and finalizing agreements with partners while ensuring legal and compliance compliance
- Prepare comprehensive post-event reports, monthly highlight reports, and strategic campaign proposals that capture PR performance, media results, and competitive insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 6–8 years of PR or communications experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, jewelry, or prestige sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in press relations, media relations, and celebrity endorsement management
- Proficiency in MS Office, media databases (e.g., DMR), social media platforms, and basic design tools
- Fluent English in both spoken and written communication; Mandarin Chinese proficiency highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling brand narratives
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous proofreading capabilities
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking effectively under pressure
- Team-oriented with proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage external partnerships

Education
