Senior General Ledger Accountant at Bulgari in Rome, Italy. Manage supplier data, purchase orders and payment flows in this permanent accounting role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier master data creation and updates, ensuring completeness, accuracy and consistency within relevant ERP systems
  • Verify and collect all required supplier documentation, checking accuracy and availability for system setup and administrative processing
  • Create and manage purchase orders in Ivalua, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and required approval workflows
  • Support execution of administrative purchasing activities with timely handling and proper process continuity
  • Prepare payment files and submit to Finance signatories, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and properly organized
  • Ensure timely transmission of documents required for payment processing and approval
  • Collect, organize and share documentation to support accounting registration and bookkeeping activities
  • Act as operational liaison between Finance, Procurement, suppliers and other internal and external counterparts
  • Monitor open items and proactively follow up on pending documentation, missing inputs or process gaps affecting deadlines
  • Contribute to finance operations reliability by maintaining accuracy, control and responsiveness across recurring activities
  • Support the team on broader accounting and administrative needs according to business priorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and administrative processes, with exposure to accounts payable and supplier master data management
  • Familiarity with ERP and procurement tools; Ivalua experience is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard digital office tools
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding data quality, document completeness and process accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage follow-up activities professionally
  • Adequate professional maturity and confidence to operate in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Fluent in Italian and good working knowledge of English

Experience
