Bulgari seeks a Senior Accountant in Rome to manage supplier master data, purchase orders (Ivalua) and payments within finance operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update supplier master data ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
- Create and manage purchase orders within Ivalua, enforcing required approval workflows and alignment with supplier agreements.
- Prepare and submit payment files to Finance signatories, ensuring supporting documentation is complete, accurate and well organised.
- Coordinate timely transmission of documents required for payment processing and approval to facilitate an efficient payment cycle.
- Collect, organise and share documentation to support accounting registrations, bookkeeping and tax compliance activities.
- Act as the operational liaison between Finance, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective information flow and resolution of queries.
- Monitor open items and proactively follow up on pending documentation, missing inputs or process gaps that could affect deadlines.
- Support broader accounting and administrative needs of the team in line with business priorities and workload requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, accounts payable or finance operations; experience in structured or international organisations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and administrative processes, including accounts payable, supplier master data, purchasing and payment flows.
- Proven ability to manage operational finance activities with autonomy, precision and strong ownership.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools; hands‑on experience with Ivalua strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with standard office productivity tools.
- Fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders under deadlines.

Education
