Bulgari seeks a Retail Director for Northern Europe based in Munich to lead 10 boutiques across Germany, Austria, Netherlands, and Czech Republic.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the retail vision, strategy, and multi-year plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability across Northern Europe
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear objectives, actionable roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for the boutique network
  • Scout competition, markets, locations, and touristic flows, proactively proposing bold commercial actions within the region
  • Drive, support, and challenge Store Managers on drivers of growth, including client experience, commercial and service KPIs, sales performance, and client development
  • Coach and support Store Managers to enhance leadership capability, drive retail transformation, unlock business opportunities, and foster people development
  • Partner closely with Human Resources and the Retail Sales Trainer to hire, train, and develop store teams, ensuring training plans reflect both team aspirations and state-of-the-art selling excellence
  • Create an inspirational, growth-enabling environment that fosters a positive, high-performance culture across the region
  • Partner with other departments to maintain the highest operational standards through a structured, methodical, and solution-oriented approach, e.g., close collaboration with the Marketing team to define tailored network marketing plans
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across boutiques and corporate functions, navigating stakeholder dynamics effectively and aligning diverse parties around common priorities
  • Address tensions, performance issues, and cross-functional challenges with sound judgment, diplomacy, and solution-oriented leadership

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent professional training, combined with significant retail leadership experience in complex and demanding environments
  • Minimum 10 years of retail leadership experience
  • Strategic and commercially driven leader with a strong command of retail KPIs and the ability to combine vision with execution
  • Proven ability to lead through clear objectives, strong accountability, and a consistent focus on results
  • Strong relationship builder, able to influence effectively and collaborate across functions, cultures, and levels of seniority
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing people, coaching leaders, and building long-term capability
  • Confident in handling difficult situations and resolving conflicts with maturity, clarity, and diplomacy
  • Structured and methodical in approach, with strong judgment and the ability to navigate complexity with pragmatism and precision
