Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and maintain control plans for CNC semi-finished parts, defining inspection points and acceptance criteria.
  • Determine control frequencies, perform capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and implement X̄-R control charts to monitor process stability and performance.
  • Design and validate measurement fixtures and gauges optimized for automated metrology systems during mechanical semi-finish validation.
  • Execute product qualification tests in the QS laboratory using dynamometers, torque meters and other laboratory instruments.
  • Program and operate collaborative robots to perform durability tests that simulate extended product use.
  • Conduct metallographic examinations and fracture-mechanics analyses on returned or sample products to qualify production processes.
  • Prepare technical reports and validation documentation summarising test results, conclusions and recommendations for corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Solid knowledge of statistics and process control methodologies.
  • Proven experience using laboratory test instrumentation and carrying out product qualification tests.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: familiarity with fracture mechanics and metallographic examination techniques.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of English.

Experience
