Bvlgari is seeking a Quality Intern for a six-month placement starting in January or February 2027, based in Neuchâtel. The intern will help develop the qualification laboratory, apply X-Ray and other inspection methods, analyse results and support quality improvement in a demanding watchmaking environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop the use of the qualification laboratory by structuring the use of inspection and testing equipment in routine quality activities.
- Deploy the X-Ray machine for analyses of metallic layer thicknesses and material composition, ensuring reliable, repeatable and relevant results.
- Conduct and manage targeted studies using results from the X-Ray machine and other laboratory equipment to address concrete quality issues.
- Analyse equipment-generated data to identify trends, better understand process deviations and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support business teams in interpreting and using results.
- Strengthen laboratory usage standards by helping to improve test protocols, reports, instructions and related best practices.
- Contribute to consolidating knowledge gained from test campaigns and analyses to strengthen the robustness of quality decisions.
- Help evolve laboratory processes to improve efficiency, traceability and integration into teams’ day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a higher-education qualification (BAC+5) in quality, industrial engineering, materials or an equivalent technical field.
- Demonstrates technical curiosity, rigour and analytical ability, with an interest in understanding inspection equipment, working with measurement results and translating them into concrete actions.
- Comfortable working in the field and engaging with varied stakeholders; able to connect observation and analysis with proposed solutions.
- Organised, autonomous and able to synthesise information.
- A strong interest in demanding industrial environments and quality issues in watchmaking manufacture is an advantage.
- Must have an internship agreement signed by an educational institution.
