Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform aesthetic, dimensional and functional inspections of watch components and finished products using standard metrology equipment.
  • Operate and maintain measuring devices such as Marcel Aubert instruments, Keyence systems and Witschi test equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to verify conformity of components and assemblies.
  • Develop and maintain inspection plans, control ranges and sampling procedures; produce and file control reports using Quick Control.
  • Communicate inspection results and non-conformities to production teams and suppliers; follow-up corrective actions within continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in quality meetings, cross-functional working groups and standardization projects to improve procedures and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical qualification in quality assurance, engineering, watchmaking or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five years' experience in quality control, ideally within the watchmaking or precision components industry.
  • Proven proficiency with Quick Control or equivalent quality-reporting software and MS Office.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensional specifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with production teams and external suppliers.
  • Organized, autonomous, pragmatic and committed to continuous improvement.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quality control, preferably in the horology/watchmaking sector or in precision component inspection.

Education

Vocational/technical diploma in quality assurance, engineering, watchmaking or equivalent practical qualification.
