Bulgari seeks a Production Planner in Valenza, Italy — full-time, mid-level role in supply chain production planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assess central distribution product sourcing plans to confirm high-level feasibility of make‑or‑buy decisions, analysing internal and outsourced production capacity and identifying constraints and bottlenecks.
- Collect, cleanse and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity; design and apply data‑mining techniques to reveal trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Deliver analytical support for ad hoc business requests and strategic initiatives, contributing to process improvements and supply‑chain optimisation projects.
- Facilitate clear, continuous information exchange between Supply Chain and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve issues and align on business priorities.
- Prepare periodic performance reports with key metrics, trend analysis and concise executive summaries for leadership.
- Provide inputs to the annual budgeting process regarding production volumes, capacity requirements and outsourcing costs.
- Develop and deliver effective PowerPoint presentations synthesising complex analytical results and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial/Management Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics/Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in supply chain, production planning or manufacturing planning; experience in fine jewellery or luxury goods manufacturing is preferred.
- Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning systems (APS).
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with practical experience in data analysis and visualisation tools.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to summarise complex analyses for executive audiences.
- Professional English fluency. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
- Experience with Anaplan implementation is considered an advantage.
