Bulgari seeks Product Development Manager in Neuchâtel, Switzerland—lead luxury watch innovation and sustainable design for the iconic Bulgari-Bulgari collection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development for Bulgari-Bulgari watch collections from pre-studies through market launch, collaborating with design, marketing, internal manufactures, procurement, and quality teams
- Conduct technical expertise reviews and pre-studies in partnership with engineering departments to ensure feasibility, reliability, and technical consistency of product documentation
- Oversee component manufacturing, validate pre-series production with quality assurance, and supervise development prototypes and associated testing events
- Drive the implementation of eco-design methodologies and lifecycle assessment (LCA) practices across projects, including data collection, structuring, and modelling to integrate sustainability criteria from project inception
- Maintain rigorous control of project budgets and timelines across all development phases to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in watch development, preferably within the Swiss luxury segment
- Technical educational background with strong foundation in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with cross-functional coordination
- Proficiency in technical English and native-level French fluency; Italian language skills are advantageous
- Proven commitment to sustainable product design and lifecycle assessment methodologies

Experience
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in watchmaking development, ideally within Swiss luxury horology. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex projects and possess a pragmatic, collaborative mindset with natural leadership capabilities.
Education
Technical degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, watchmaking, or related field.
