Bulgari in Rome seeks a Procurement Manager (indirect categories) to lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation and contracting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the procurement lead for assigned indirect spend categories, translating internal requirements into sourcing and purchasing solutions.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities — market scouting, tender management, commercial evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection and contracting.
- Drive negotiations to secure optimal balance of service quality, commercial terms and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate purchase order issuance and ensure operational follow-through of procurement activities when required.
- Monitor supplier performance and cultivate high-performing, reliable supplier relationships across categories (facilities, security, HR initiatives, retail/omnichannel, general services).
- Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify priorities, challenge requests when appropriate and define the most suitable procurement approach.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance and transparency; contribute to tools, reporting and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide procurement support for transversal projects requiring coordination across multiple functions and external vendors.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline; Master’s degree or procurement certification is a plus.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing or purchasing, with significant exposure to indirect categories and end-to-end sourcing processes.
- Proven experience operating within structured, international or matrix organisations.
- Demonstrable negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with experience in contract negotiation and tender methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management capability with credibility to engage senior internal interlocutors.

7–10 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Purchasing, ideally managing indirect categories within complex, international or matrix corporate environments; experience across both strategic sourcing and day-to-day purchasing execution.
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field; Master’s degree or procurement certification preferred.
