Bulgari seeks Perfume Retail Area Manager for UK & Ireland. Lead retail teams, drive sales performance, and manage multi-site operations in this luxury retail management role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate internal and external sales teams, overseeing recruitment, coaching, and training to achieve sales targets and support Client Advisors in exceeding objectives
  • Implement commercial strategy across the point-of-sale network whilst managing and delivering all KPIs within the assigned territory
  • Ensure close follow-up of sell-out performance in collaboration with retail partners, defining and achieving sales targets for each point of sale
  • Manage Bulgari Perfumes assortment representation in-store, ensuring visual merchandising compliance and availability of sellable products and testers
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with retailers as the day-to-day field contact for all performance and operational matters
  • Identify sales opportunities and growth initiatives by analyzing sell-out data, market trends, and retail landscape; support strategic decision-making
  • Negotiate enhanced in-store visibility, local animations, and promotional activities; manage sampling initiatives and gifts-with-purchase programs
  • Support all in-store executions including CAPEX installations, visual merchandising, and brand animations; manage assigned budgets and negotiate with staffing agencies
  • Monitor store performance and competitor activity, gathering feedback to support continuous improvement and sustainable business development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Education, and Sales teams to execute integrated campaigns and operational excellence
  • Travel frequently within and around London and Ireland to maintain field presence and provide hands-on support

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail management, including at least 3 years in an Area Manager role
  • Proven experience in multi-site management and team leadership, preferably within the luxury sector
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Strong business acumen with proven negotiation capabilities and execution skills
  • Performance-driven mindset with pragmatic problem-solving approach and understanding of luxury retail standards
