Bulgari seeks a Perfume Operations Director in Neuchâtel, Switzerland to lead end-to-end fragrance operations, supply chain, and manufacturing with 10+ years of senior management experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the operational strategy of the Perfume Business Unit, translating business objectives into scalable, efficient and sustainable operational plans
- Drive operational excellence across the entire value chain, continuously improving efficiency, service levels, quality and cost performance
- Lead and continuously optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, compounding, filling, packaging and product distribution
- Oversee production planning and purchasing activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment between manufacturing capacity and business priorities
- Lead the Packaging Development function to ensure innovative, compliant and operationally feasible product solutions
- Ensure optimal inventory levels, monitor stock quality and ageing, and guarantee material availability to support uninterrupted production and customer service
- Define, govern and ensure the consistent application of quality standards across all manufacturing activities while promoting continuous quality improvement
- Ensure worldwide compliance of products and operational processes with applicable regulatory requirements, enabling successful commercialization across international markets
- Act as Responsible Person for Quality and Safety under the Chinese Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR)
- Oversee product safety assessments and drive the environmental strategy of the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with corporate sustainability objectives
- Lead the end-to-end management of non-conformities, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions across all operational activities
- Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
- Build organizational capabilities, governance and operational processes that enable sustainable growth and high performance
- Define and drive the Operational Excellence roadmap by identifying strategic improvement opportunities and optimizing end-to-end business processes
- Lead transformation initiatives and ensure successful implementation, adoption and long-term sustainability of organizational and operational changes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Solid knowledge of chemistry and Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Packaging (QSRP) principles
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior operations management roles within fragrance, cosmetics, beauty or FMCG industries
- Proven track record of leading complex international operations and driving strategic transformation
- Strong expertise across supply chain and production management
- Strategic vision combined with solid business and financial mindset
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and translate complex technical topics into clear business recommendations
- Fluency in French and English
- MBA or another advanced business qualification (preferred)

Experience
Minimum 10 years of significant experience in senior operations management roles within the fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industries, with a proven track record of leading complex international operations, driving strategic transformation, and supporting business growth through operational excellence.
Education
Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. An MBA or another advanced business qualification is considered an asset.
