About Bvlgari
Founded in Rome in 1884, Bvlgari is one of the world’s most distinctive luxury houses, celebrated for its bold Italian creativity, exceptional craftsmanship, and mastery of jewellery, watches, accessories, fragrances, and hospitality. As an employer, Bvlgari offers a refined, international environment where heritage and innovation meet, inviting talent to contribute to a culture of excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and client-centric elegance. The Maison values diverse expertise, from artisanal savoir-faire to retail leadership and corporate functions, and encourages professional growth within the wider LVMH ecosystem. Working at Bvlgari means joining a Roman-born brand with a global vision and an enduring passion for beauty.
Bvlgari is seeking an Omnichannel Data and AI Assistant Manager for its omnichannel team in Shanghai. The role supports data tagging and machine-learning integration, translates models into commercial actions, and advances Agentic AI adoption and impact measurement. This is a full-time, on-site office position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the omnichannel data hub from the business side, acting as the counterpart to IT and omnichannel retail teams and aligning data definitions, metrics, and KPI frameworks across functions.
- Support cross-functional teams in building and maintaining the omnichannel tagging framework across online behavior, transactional data, and algorithms to enable client-journey mapping and personalization at scale.
- Work with headquarters and local cross-functional teams to integrate headquarters’ models into the local data environment and translate algorithm outputs into commercially valuable business use cases.
- Support adaptation of global models to local market context, including client behavior, data coverage, and KPI definitions, and translate results into actions such as prioritized prospect follow-up lists, cross-category recommendations, client segmentation, and dormant-client reactivation.
- Monitor algorithm results and conduct A/B testing to improve model performance and business relevance.
- Support Client Advisors and CRM users in adopting AI capabilities in their daily work; gather online and offline commerce needs and feedback, and iterate solutions to keep them practical, useful, and compliant.
- Support Agentic AI initiatives end to end, including use-case scoping, solution design with IT and headquarters, business validation with retail teams, and preparation for wider rollout.
- Support measurement of business impact on sales conversion and service quality, and share learnings across markets to scale successful approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- 3–5 years of experience in CRM, data analytics, data/AI products, or digital transformation, preferably in luxury, retail, or consulting.
- Experience in luxury retail or high-end consumer goods is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail machine-learning use cases, including recommendation engines and predictive analytics, and emerging Agentic AI technologies; ability to define clear business requirements for technical teams is required, though coding is not necessarily required.
- Practical exposure to AI/LLM tools and agent-based workflows, including prompt design and AI output quality evaluation.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects from planning through delivery.
- Customer orientation, strong data sensitivity, creative thinking, a team-working spirit, and passion for luxury.
