Bvlgari is seeking a Mechanical Design and Mechatronics Automation Intern to develop and integrate an automated bracelet-conveying solution, designing equipment and tooling, building prototypes and supporting testing and validation. This full-time, six-month internship starts in February 2027 and is based in Neuchâtel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, standardization and deployment of automation solutions to improve production equipment performance, quality and ergonomics.
- Develop and integrate an automated conveying solution between the different manufacturing operations for a bracelet, following a GAMP5-based project approach.
- Contribute to all project phases, from needs analysis and requirements definition through design, prototyping, testing and solution validation.
- Design tooling and equipment using CAD (Creo).
- Contribute to the development of standardized automated workstations.
- Build prototypes and conduct tests.
- Create technical documentation and standards.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality and Methods teams.
Qualifications
- Currently studying for a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or product design.
- Enjoys developing technical solutions and working in the field.
- Curious, autonomous and pragmatic, with an interest in understanding challenges on site, proposing solutions and putting them into practice.
- Solution-oriented, with the ability to analyze problems, explore different approaches and move quickly from ideas to experimentation.
- Pragmatic, adaptable and able to collaborate effectively in a technical, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CAD software.
- Interested in mechatronics and automation.
- Analytical and creative.
- Fluent in French.
