Bulgari seeks a Junior Business Controller in Rome to support financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities in the watches and jewelry sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, periodic revisions and Three-Year Plan projections, collecting and consolidating inputs from relevant business functions
- Validate financial and operational information, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency before inclusion in planning and reporting processes
- Monitor business performance across sales, margins, expenditure, investments and profitability using organizational and commercial dimensions
- Prepare monthly management reporting and analyze main deviations versus Budget, Forecast and Previous Year
- Investigate financial and operational drivers behind performance movements, including volume and mix effects, margin evolution, and budget reallocations
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by supporting data checks, accrual preparation, reconciliations and validation of financial results
- Develop, update and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reporting tools to improve accessibility and visualization of performance information
- Extract, structure and analyze data from different financial and operational sources, ensuring data traceability and consistency across reports
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses requested by finance, commercial and functional stakeholders
- Contribute to management and executive presentations, transforming detailed data into clear charts and concise supporting messages
- Present analytical outputs to internal stakeholders, explaining results and underlying assumptions in a clear manner
- Support monitoring of Advertising & Promotion expenditure and business investments, including budget availability, commitments and actual spending
- Work closely with business stakeholders to clarify financial information and facilitate correct application of controlling processes
- Manage and maintain controlling dimensions, databases and reporting structures to ensure accurate financial allocation
- Provide financial information and supporting documentation for internal reviews, statutory closing activities and audit requirements
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of reporting and controlling processes
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, financial reporting, accounting or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a structured organization
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, variance analysis, management reporting and P&L principles
- Good understanding of the main financial drivers affecting sales, margins, operating expenditure, investments and profitability
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and data visualization
- Strong proficiency in Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, financial reporting, accounting or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a structured organization or similar disciplined corporate environment.
Education
Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 40,000 per annum.
