Bulgari seeks a Jewelry & Watches Retail Merchandising Specialist in Rome, Italy. Lead assortment strategy, optimize distribution, and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Global and Novelties assortment sessions, working with Local Merchandisers to define optimal product assortment for each store based on clustering, product strategy, and sales performance
- Manage and validate assortments for new openings, renovations, relocations, and Pop-Up initiatives, coordinating stakeholders across Local Merchandising, Network Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Distribution Planning
- Monitor and optimize the distribution of allocated products, ensuring alignment with store needs, product priorities, and commercial opportunities
- Analyze weekly sales performance data, identify opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations to maximize sell-through in partnership with Local Merchandisers and Central Departments
- Serve as key point of contact for Central Supply Chain and Distribution Planning on assortment-related topics and priority-setting for new product launches
- Support the evolution of assortment and distribution processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and fostering data-driven decision-making
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in merchandising or a similar retail role, preferably within the luxury industry
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to accuracy
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge considered advantageous
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Demonstrated Client Orientation and Business Awareness
- Strong product sensitivity and analytical, data-driven mindset
- Excellent problem-solving and innovation capabilities
- Outstanding stakeholder management and collaboration skills
