Bulgari seeks an Indirect Purchasing Specialist in Rome, Italy to support HSE & Facilities operations with supplier negotiations and contract management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define purchasing strategy for each category in collaboration with internal stakeholders, identifying specifications and customization requirements for equipment, systems, materials, and services to inform internal specifications
- Support budget definition and periodic monitoring through development and maintenance of control tools
- Scout, evaluate, and select suppliers; manage tenders and contracts for operational sites and new site projects
- Negotiate commercial conditions with suppliers, formalize Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and optimize quality and cost of services
- Define and implement contracts and supply agreements for maintenance materials and services
- Issue purchase orders for goods and services
- Monitor and request updates to supplier documentation
- Monitor service execution, expected deliveries, and outstanding orders in coordination with requesting departments
- Support analysis and evaluation of supplier performance
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role within an industrial or production environment
- Knowledge of purchasing processes and negotiation techniques
- Excellent proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English; additional languages preferred
