Bulgari Japan seeks an HR Manager in Tokyo (Ginza) to manage HR, payroll, recruitment and compliance for Bulgari Tokyo Ginza Bar & Dolci.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for Bulgari Tokyo Ginza Bar & Dolci, including personnel records, onboarding and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labor law, employment contracts, social insurance and payroll regulations.
- Oversee payroll and attendance administration, coordinating processing and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare HR-related budgeting, personnel cost reports and regular management reporting.
- Liaise with the hotel group’s HR counterpart (listed as Mariotte HR) and provide required reports and documentation.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing and preparing salary offers for new hires.
- Design, deliver and evaluate in-house training and development programmes; coach managers on performance and development.
- Support the General Manager on HR-related legal and employee relations matters and coordinate internal HR communications.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ professional HR experience, with demonstrable experience in hospitality preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Japanese labor law, social insurance and payroll administration.
- Proven experience managing recruitment, compensation offers and HR reporting/budgeting.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English and business-level Japanese to liaise with international stakeholders and local teams.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the hospitality or luxury service sectors, with exposure to payroll, social insurance administration, recruitment and labour-law compliance.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

This position is based in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan.
