Bvlgari seeks a Galvanoplaste (Electroplating Technician) in Saignelégier, Switzerland. Permanent, full-time role in watch production with technical plating duties.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute surface treatments (bath processes) and cleaning of watch components including dials, appliqués and cases from preparation through colouring and final cleaning.
  • Develop, document and follow manufacturing processes for the plating workshop and perform base treatments on dials (sanding, satin finishing, opaline, sunburst).
  • Operate and maintain automatic and manual washing lines for cases and dial components, ensuring parts are cleaned to specification.
  • Prepare and monitor treatment baths, perform regular maintenance of galvanic installations and ensure bath chemistry and equipment integrity.
  • Inspect produced parts for quality, record quantities in production orders (OF) and ensure traceability.
  • Contribute to process development, lead root-cause analysis for quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

Qualifications

  • Swiss Federal Certificate (CFC) in galvanoplasty/electroplating or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Minimum three years' proven experience in galvanic/electroplating operations within the watchmaking industry, preferably with dial treatments.
  • Strong command of galvanic techniques and bath management, with demonstrated rigour and organisational skills.
  • Good communicator, able to work cooperatively across teams and to document processes clearly.
  • Proactive mindset with curiosity for technological developments and ability to propose process optimisations.
