Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store/Boutique Manager to develop and optimise store performance and profitability through active business development and disciplined retail execution.
  • Drive personal and team sales targets; execute proactive selling both inside and outside the boutique and identify client and stock opportunities.
  • Coach, train and mentor sales staff on customer service, product knowledge, after-sales service, grooming and visual merchandising; conduct daily briefings and KPI follow-ups.
  • Manage store operations including rota and holiday planning, inventory coordination with support teams, supervision of AFFS performance and liaison with mall authorities for permits.
  • Maintain impeccable retail standards; coordinate store maintenance with retail operations and third‑party suppliers.
  • Lead clienteling activities: cultivate and develop relationships with existing clients, engage new customers, resolve complaints and implement action plans from mystery shopping and retail analysis.
  • Support reporting and commercial analysis: prepare and interpret sales, expense and competitor data to inform local action plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including 3–5 years in a Team Manager, Deputy or Assistant Manager role within luxury retail.
  • Proven track record of achieving personal and collective sales targets and of proactively managing client relationships inside and outside the boutique.
  • Strong commercial acumen, business awareness and negotiation skills with the ability to translate retail data into local action plans.
  • Demonstrable people management experience: coaching, performance management and developing sales teams.
  • Knowledge of luxury retail standards, store procedures and CRM-driven clienteling methodologies.

Experience

Minimum five years of retail experience with demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and at least three years in a Team Manager or deputy store leadership role; proven experience in clienteling and team coaching.

Education
