Bulgari seeks a Demand & Inventory Planning Manager in Dublin, Ireland. Lead supply chain planning, manage forecasting teams, and optimize inventory strategies for a luxury LVMH brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern integrated demand and inventory planning processes, defining forecasting standards, methodologies, and inventory strategies including Target Stock Levels and regional safety stocks
  • Oversee the development of rolling forecasts using AI/ML and robust statistical and analytical methodologies
  • Own demand review governance within S&OP and forecast meetings cadence
  • Ensure alignment between demand plans, budget targets, and Three-Year Plan objectives
  • Define and oversee Target Stock Level methodology across store networks, balancing service levels and financial objectives
  • Evaluate inventory trends and propose structural optimization initiatives to balance product availability and stock investments
  • Facilitate alignment and collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Merchandising, and Distribution Planning to ensure demand-supply coherence
  • Communicate demand and inventory assumptions, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of demand and inventory planners, defining objectives and performance standards
  • Develop and implement expertise, skills, tools, and key performance indicators in demand and inventory planning
  • Challenge the status quo to drive efficiency improvements and pursue innovation

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of solid supply chain planning experience, with demonstrated expertise in demand planning
  • Proven track record in people management and team leadership
  • Advanced knowledge of planning techniques and forecasting models
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Demonstrable budget alignment and financial awareness, including working capital and financial impact understanding
  • Expertise in quantitative data analysis and statistical techniques
  • Proficiency in simulation and scenario analysis
  • Fluency in English; Italian language is a competitive advantage
