Bulgari CSR Specialist Trainee internship in Rome, Italy. Support sustainability initiatives and ESG compliance within LVMH luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, verifying, and analyzing sustainability-related data from internal and external stakeholders
- Support preparation of internal and external CSR reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking systems
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and industry best practices within luxury and manufacturing sectors
- Contribute to strategic projects on sustainable sourcing with focus on colored gemstones traceability and certification
- Perform competitor benchmarking and identify improvement opportunities aligned with LVMH standards
- Support cross-functional projects on sustainable sourcing, circular economy, and reporting initiatives
- Help track CSR action plan progress and document project outcomes and deliverables
- Assist in creation of presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders including LVMH Group and certification bodies
- Support awareness campaigns and employee engagement initiatives related to CSR topics
- Help prepare documentation for audits and certifications such as ISO standards
- Conduct internal assessments and supplier evaluations linked to ethical and sustainable practices
- Support design of internal awareness materials on climate change, diversity, responsible sourcing, and ethical business conduct
- Gather and analyze data for supplier and third-party due diligence assessments aligned with applicable laws
- Assist in value chain mapping to identify potential environmental, social, and human rights risks
- Contribute to development of internal tools and procedures supporting due diligence processes
- Monitor compliance with internal and external due diligence obligations and participate in drafting corrective action plans
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Operations departments to promote responsible sourcing and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Basic knowledge of CSR/ESG principles and due diligence frameworks
- Familiarity with regulatory trends in human rights, environmental compliance, and responsible sourcing
- Strong analytical and research abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Team player with collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in dynamic environment
