Bulgari Commercial Trainer position in Taipei, Taiwan. Lead retail training and coaching for watches and jewellery luxury sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and deployment of comprehensive learning solutions addressing selling skills, brand knowledge, storytelling, CRM, remote selling, and soft skills training
- Conduct on-site coaching observations on shop floors for a minimum of 30% of working time, ensuring service excellence and adherence to brand standards
- Collaborate with store managers and business partners to analyse sales, CRM and Service KPIs, developing and implementing action plans to enhance client satisfaction and drive sales performance
- Develop and manage Mystery Shopping and Voice of Client initiatives, translating insights into targeted training interventions
- Manage the training budget for domestic retail locations and travel retail channels, optimising resource allocation across programmes
- Participate in Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions coordinated by the corporate training department and cascade learning to local trainers
- Drive coaching culture across the organisation, influencing store leaders to take ownership of people development and support effective learning implementation
- Monitor and enhance e-learning completion rates, promoting digital learning and communication platforms introduced by headquarters
- Coordinate with wholesale teams to ensure all training programmes—digital, in-store, and classroom-based—are executed effectively by business partners
- Plan and manage the calendar of training activities aligned with business priorities, retail needs and people development strategies
Qualifications
- Expertise in luxury sales techniques and selling methodology for high-end watch and jewellery creations
- Advanced proficiency in coaching and mentoring techniques
- Proven ability to design, deploy and evaluate comprehensive training programmes
- Deep knowledge of Bulgari collections and brand heritage
- Technical knowledge of gems, watches and horology
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management capabilities
- GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification preferred
- FHH (Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry) certification preferred
Skills
Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in training or retail functions, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Prior experience within luxury retail, watches, jewellery or related high-end sectors is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in developing retail talent, implementing training initiatives and driving measurable improvements in sales performance and customer service metrics.
Education
University degree required. Background in luxury retail, business administration or related field preferred. Professional certifications in gemology, horology, or Learning & Development are advantageous.
