Business Analyst and Controlling role at Bulgari in Rome, Italy. Support financial planning, P&L monitoring, and business performance analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare sales budgets and revisions, monitor performance metrics including sales, margins, and variances across channels, products, and regions
- Conduct monthly P&L reporting with variance analysis against budget and prior year to ensure consolidated and market-level budget target monitoring
- Develop 3-year plan projections and prepare forecasts for various distribution channels and business segments
- Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for Commercial Regional Managers to support strategic and tactical decision-making
- Monitor monthly Marketing budget and Advertising & Promotion spending by project, tracking actuals and assessing return-on-investment
- Act as finance business partner, providing financial analysis, business insights, and constructive recommendations to support performance management and decision-making
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of financial data in coordination with finance processes
- Implement and continuously improve reporting methodologies, dashboards, and business performance analysis tools to enhance data visibility and analytical capability
- Manage and maintain controlling dimensions and data structures to ensure reliable information and effective analysis
- Provide financial documentation and analysis to support statutory closures, internal reviews, and external audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical approaches, reporting efficiency, and decision support visibility across the organization
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, commercial finance, or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a structured international environment
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting techniques, and P&L analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost controlling, margin analysis, and financial performance indicators
- Strong proficiency in Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages considered an asset

Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, commercial finance, or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a structured international environment and the luxury sector.
Education
Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
