The Staff Restaurant Assistant supports dishwashing and kitchen hygiene, food preparation, the cold kitchen, and cleaning and organisation in the kitchen and restaurant. The role is based at Bucherer’s Aurum in Lucerne and is offered at 50–70%.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to dishwashing and kitchen hygiene, sharing responsibility for these areas.
- Assist with kitchen setup and food preparation.
- Support the cold kitchen.
- Clean the kitchen and restaurant in accordance with hygiene and quality standards.
- Maintain order and cleanliness and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Completed Progresso training; basic training in gastronomy or hospitality is an advantage.
- Professional experience in gastronomy, ideally in system catering or institutional food service.
- Experience in a canteen or staff restaurant is an advantage.
- Good German skills at B2 level or higher.
