The Luxury Retail Intern joins Bucherer’s professional team in its Bern boutique, supporting administration, client service, reception, sales activities and Food & Beverage service. This is a 100% internship from 1 March to 31 August 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support organizational and administrative tasks.
- Engage with national and international clientele, assist Client Advisors and gradually take on sales activities independently across the sales process.
- Welcome guests warmly in the reception area and create a professional arrival experience.
- Assist with preparing and presenting beverages, including serving Food & Beverage orders.
- Contribute to smooth boutique operations through a proactive, careful approach and effective information flow among colleagues.
- Work as part of a professional team in a boutique environment reflecting the atmosphere of a five-star hotel.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a university or other higher education institution, ideally in hospitality and/or restaurant management.
- Seeking a comprehensive internship in luxury retail as part of a degree programme.
- Appreciates the luxury boutique environment and contact with discerning national and international clientele.
- Strong passion for the products; experience with watches and jewellery is a plus.
- Balanced, committed and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Reliable, highly organized, service-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Motivated to make a positive contribution through an exemplary attitude.
- Excellent command of German and English; any additional language is an asset.
