Role & Responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing controlling team in the calculation, maintenance and roll‑forward of standard costs for finished goods and production components.
- Perform cost variance analyses (material, labour, overhead) and prepare variance explanations for manufacturing management.
- Contribute to inventory valuation and month‑end manufacturing reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with production, quality and procurement teams to validate Bills of Materials (BOM), routings and yield assumptions affecting standards.
- Assist in updating standard cost models following design changes, supplier price updates or process improvements.
- Prepare clear, analytical reports and presentations for the finance and operations stakeholders.
- Support ad‑hoc projects to streamline costing processes and improve data quality within ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent academic background.
- Solid understanding of standard costing methodology and manufacturing cost drivers.
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to numerical accuracy and process detail.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet modelling and ability to build pivot tables and cost models.
