Role & Responsibilities
- Execute hand fabrication and finishing of high-jewellery pieces according to technical drawings and design specifications.
- Perform precision tasks including soldering, micro-soldering, hand engraving, repoussé, chasing and surface finishing to the maison’s quality standards.
- Set and secure precious stones using appropriate techniques (bezel, prong, pavé, flush) and inspect settings for integrity and finish.
- Carry out repairs, resizing and restorations on vintage and contemporary jewellery while preserving original details.
- Work closely with design, quality control and production planning to meet delivery schedules and maintain consistency across collections.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment (flex shaft, torch, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner) and ensure compliance with safety and hallmarking regulations.
- Document work progress, report issues requiring design or materials intervention, and contribute to continuous improvement of atelier processes.
Qualifications
- Formal training in goldsmithing, jewellery-making or completion of an apprenticeship with demonstrated portfolio of finished work.
- Deep knowledge of precious metals (gold alloys, silver) and gemmological awareness for common gemstones and their setting requirements.
- Proven manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for fine, detailed work under magnification.
- Familiarity with Italian hallmarking and jewellery production quality standards.
- Reliable track record of working in a luxury jewellery atelier or comparable high-end manufacturing environment.

Experience
Several years (commonly 3+ years) of hands-on experience in a luxury jewellery workshop or artisan atelier, with demonstrable experience producing and finishing high-end pieces.
Education
Diploma or certification from a recognised goldsmith/jewellery school or completion of an accredited apprenticeship programme in jewellery-making.
