Buccellati in Milan seeks a Financial Data Analyst Trainee to support financial reporting, data analysis and FP&A activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the finance team with collection, consolidation and reconciliation of financial and operational datasets from multiple sources.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc management reports, variance analyses and KPI dashboards to inform commercial and executive decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and period-close activities, ensuring data integrity and alignment with accounting records.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based models and templates for reporting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with commercial, retail and supply-chain teams to validate sales, inventory and cost data.
- Contribute to process-improvement initiatives aimed at automating manual tasks and enhancing reporting cadence.
- Support preparation of presentations and materials for finance reviews and cross-functional meetings while safeguarding confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline; current enrolment in a Master’s programme acceptable.
- Demonstrable analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and numeric accuracy.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for cross-functional collaboration.

Experience
