Buccellati is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, sales performance, client development, and team leadership at its Saint-Honoré boutique in Paris. The role is full-time and includes acting as the Boutique Manager’s deputy, particularly in their absence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in managing and overseeing daily boutique operations.
- Manage designated operational and managerial tasks, including workforce management, team scheduling and rotations, and handling client requests and complaints, in line with company policies and Retail Management guidelines.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding boutique sales targets by monitoring sales and retail KPIs.
- Develop and retain a high-potential local and international clientele, deliver an exceptional client experience, and implement the CRM and clienteling strategy.
- Support and unite the sales team through regular on-floor coaching and by upholding the Maison’s standards of excellence.
- Lead daily briefings, communicate commercial priorities, and contribute to each team member’s skills development and performance.
- Act as the Boutique Manager’s managerial deputy, particularly in their absence, and contribute to day-to-day HR matters.
- Analyze boutique performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement appropriate action plans.
- Maintain operational excellence across team organization and scheduling, stock and flow management, cash handling, administration, and compliance with procedures.
- Maintain an impeccable sales environment and ensure effective communication with Retail Management and support teams, while encouraging the sharing of best practices.
Qualifications
- Established experience in luxury retail, ideally in high watchmaking or jewellery, together with significant initial experience in team management or supervision.
- Strong product sensitivity and excellent knowledge of luxury codes and standards.
- Ability to lead, support, and unite a team day to day, while setting an exemplary example on the sales floor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong service orientation, and the ability to handle demanding client situations with diplomacy and sound judgment.
- Structured and responsive, with the ability to manage priorities, optimize schedules, and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
