Brunello Cucinelli seeks an experienced Store Manager in Chicago to lead luxury retail operations, drive sales performance, and foster exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of retail store operations including sales, inventory, staffing, and financial performance
  • Lead by example to deliver industry-leading customer service, cultivating guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experience
  • Resolve customer service issues and complaints with professionalism and best-in-class responsiveness
  • Serve as market expert regarding competitive landscape, local talent networks, and strategic brand positioning opportunities
  • Achieve store performance goals encompassing sales targets, inventory KPIs, staff productivity metrics, and payroll administration
  • Oversee and provide constructive feedback on client advisor interactions to ensure personalized, memorable experiences that enhance client retention
  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive staff training programs covering product knowledge, customer service excellence, sales techniques, and stock management
  • Establish achievable sales objectives for staff members and conduct systematic performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor team performance, and conduct annual staff evaluations to drive store success
  • Identify and cultivate high-potential candidates to develop internal talent pipeline
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard team members to maintain optimal store staffing levels
  • Analyze key reporting metrics including sell-through rates, productivity, sales results, and customer data; communicate insights to domestic and international stakeholders
  • Partner with Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure sufficient product inventory meets customer expectations and demand forecasts
  • Oversee stockroom operations and product movement to maintain inventory accuracy and adherence to company storage standards
  • Lead quarterly inventory reconciliation processes and ensure achievement of company-identified KPIs
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with peers and organizational stakeholders
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are consistently maintained throughout the store; collaborate with VM teams on seasonal refreshes aligned with sell-through and availability

Qualifications

  • 5 years of equivalent store management experience in a luxury retail environment
  • Proven track record of achieving business goals and driving results through team leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to network and cultivate client relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel)
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Availability to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends
