The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running the Brunello Cucinelli boutique, leading the team, delivering elevated client service and driving sales performance. The role also covers visual standards, events and CRM, team development, stock support, retail procedures and systems including Xstore and Salesforce.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in running the boutique, guide the in-store team and serve as a reference point for customers.
- Lead the team by example and ensure the correct management of the store.
- Build customer relationships through an active, continuous shop-floor presence and deliver a distinctive service and shopping experience aligned with the brand philosophy, corporate image, and communication and CRM guidelines.
- Communicate clearly, correctly and courteously with clients and colleagues in their mother tongue and other foreign languages, while actively listening to build mutual trust.
- Guide sales operations and ensure customer service and the selling ceremony comply with company guidelines to provide each customer with a special experience.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to set specific, actionable goals based on established KPIs and promote the achievement of assigned store targets and goals.
- Support the Store Manager in organizing events and trunk shows to introduce new customers to Brunello Cucinelli, foster and increase loyalty, and provide ideas for CRM actions.
- Maintain high standards through correct implementation of Visual Guidelines and regularly coordinate the team in assembling or dismantling window and in-store visual displays.
- Interpret the Brunello Cucinelli style in the boutique and keep the team and themselves continually updated on products and new collections.
- Guide the team in maximizing sales and performance, report missed opportunities to management for potential corrective action, and provide reports on sales trends, customers and competitors.
- Manage and motivate the team in carrying out daily boutique activities responsibly; ensure each team member receives continuous feedback.
- Safeguard and promote respect and collaboration among colleagues, mediating team disputes through group coaching or one-to-one meetings.
- Cooperate with the stock department and provide support when required, especially during inventories.
- Ensure compliance with retail operations procedures and guidelines provided by HQ.
- Maintain direct contact with headquarters.
- Use the main IT applications and systems and keep up to date with new company tools, particularly the Xstore management system and Salesforce CRM system.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the product and deep knowledge of the fashion industry and luxury sector.
- Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- High flexibility, people management skills and ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in French and English; knowledge of another language is a plus.
