Brioni Wholesale Director – Americas role based in New York. Lead luxury menswear wholesale strategy across the U.S. and regional partnerships. $185k–$200k.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute regional wholesale strategy in alignment with global direction and Brioni brand standards
- Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with major U.S. luxury department stores to drive sales and strengthen brand positioning
- Identify and drive new wholesale business opportunities, optimizing the distribution network across the Americas
- Lead client acquisition initiatives consistent with brand equity and exclusivity positioning
- Oversee regional buying strategy and ensure alignment with merchandising guidelines and product roadmap
- Ensure excellence and consistency in brand execution across all partners, including visual merchandising, client experience, and staff training
- Monitor regional business performance, establish KPIs, and develop action plans to maximize growth and profitability
- Generate seasonal market reports analyzing performance of each major account including financial results and product-level insights
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and seasonal orders to maximize brand presence and sales potential
- Conduct regular market visits to assess brand positioning, evaluate product performance, and monitor competitor activity
- Lead and develop the wholesale sales team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in U.S. luxury or premium menswear wholesale management
- Established relationships with senior management at all major luxury department store chains
- Strategic and commercially astute mindset with strong command of retail KPIs and distribution dynamics
- Exceptional knowledge of retail mathematics, selling reports, financial measurements, and budgeting
- Demonstrated leadership presence and people management capabilities with a collaborative approach
- Proven ability to drive change and lead regional organizations with exemplary communication skills across organizational levels
- Strong relationship-building capability with key partners and stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
- Deep sensitivity to luxury brand positioning and premium client experience
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
