Brioni in Rome seeks a Merchandiser Intern to support merchandising analytics and collection development across retail and wholesale.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support sales analysis and monitor commercial performance across Retail and Wholesale channels.
- Assist in preparation of periodic and ad-hoc merchandising reports and presentations.
- Collect and organise market data and conduct competitor analysis to inform collection strategy.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal collection briefings and pricing structures.
- Prepare materials for product presentations and internal training sessions.
- Collaborate with Creative and Product teams during collection development workflows.
- Provide operational support during buying sessions and showroom sales activities.
- Perform sell-in and sell-out analysis to inform replenishment and allocation decisions.
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Fashion Business, or related field.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Excellent command of MS Office, with strong spreadsheet and presentation skills.
- High analytical aptitude with attention to numerical detail.
- Ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in fashion, apparel and luxury retail.

Experience
Suitable for students or recent graduates; prior internships or coursework in merchandising, retail analytics, buying or fashion business are advantageous but not strictly required.
Education
University degree in Economics or related studies.
