Brioni seeks a Merchandise & Sales Planner in Milan to optimize sales forecasting, inventory management, and business analytics for the luxury menswear House.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead planning and forecasting processes, including Sales Plan, Open-to-Buy, and inventory projections, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Translate business needs into analytical insights, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to support strategic decision-making
- Own weekly and monthly reporting on business performance across all categories and regions
- Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to monitor business performance and support decision-making across functions
- Proactively identify business opportunities and risks, providing recommendations to improve sales and inventory productivity
- Ensure key business questions (What, When, Where, Who, Why, and What's Next) are addressed through clear and relevant insights
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through regular validation and continuous process improvements
- Partner closely with Merchandising, Retail, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory deployment and maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant experience in Merchandise Planning, Sales Planning, or similar analytical role, preferably within fashion, luxury, or retail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into business recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency in reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proactive, organized, and results-oriented approach

Experience
Relevant experience in Merchandise Planning, Sales Planning, or similar analytical role, preferably within fashion, luxury, or retail.
Education
Solid knowledge of Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
