Brioni is hiring a Junior Demand & Distribution Planner in Milan to manage production deliveries, stock allocation and distribution reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production deliveries and shipment distribution to ensure timely replenishment across directly operated stores and central warehouses.
- Manage daily stock allocation processes, liaising with production, customer service and logistics teams to align inventory with store requirements.
- Produce and maintain weekly and periodic reports on production progress, delivery status and distribution flows; identify potential disruptions and propose corrective actions.
- Forecast shipping volumes at global and local warehouse levels and recommend adjustments to meet strategic constraints such as in‑store dates and capacity limitations.
- Operate and validate outputs from planning software; ensure data reliability and contribute to system maintenance and improvements.
- Analyze logistics data, monitor weekly/monthly KPIs and support development of action plans to optimise distribution performance.
- Support the end‑to‑end demand planning process and contribute to process and tool optimisation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerBi for data manipulation and reporting.
- Practical experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Stealth is highly appreciated.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Organised, target‑oriented and able to prioritise tasks while managing significant volumes of data.
- Proactive problem‑solver with effective cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Experience
Junior level: prior exposure to demand planning, inventory management or distribution/logistics operations is expected — typically through 0–2 years in planning or supply‑chain roles; experience within fashion or luxury retail is advantageous.
Education
Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or similar field.
