Brioni Chief Tailor position in Shanghai, APAC region. Lead luxury menswear tailoring operations with 10+ years experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all atelier activities, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fulfillment of customer requests for ready-to-wear garments
- Oversee measurement-taking and production protocols for the Bespoke line
- Orchestrate team coordination to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines with demonstrated urgency
- Execute tailoring services including mending, alterations, and handwork on ready-to-wear collections
- Assist retail personnel with customer fittings on both Bespoke and Ready-to-Wear collections
- Provide expert styling and fitting advice based on client posture and individual body characteristics
- Manage clienteling activities to foster long-term customer relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on tailoring experience in a luxury environment
- Advanced professional knowledge of garment fitting, fabric properties, styling principles, and manufacturing techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of men's luxury suiting construction and techniques
- Expert knowledge of diverse fabrications and textile materials
- Advanced applied handwork tailoring skills including hand-stitched buttonholes and bespoke finishing
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury boutique tailoring practices
- Substantial coat-making experience
- Proficiency in bespoke and ready-to-wear menswear
- Fluent English proficiency

Minimum 10 years of progressive tailoring experience within luxury retail or atelier environments, with demonstrated proficiency in both bespoke and ready-to-wear alterations, luxury boutique operations, and team leadership in high-end menswear services.
Education
Formal training in tailoring, garment construction, or pattern-making is preferred; professional certifications in luxury menswear tailoring or related disciplines are advantageous.
