Role & Responsibilities

• Learns to use a personal tablet provided at the start of the training programme and used throughout the training period.
• Learns about assortment and materials management to provide customers with expert, personalised product advice.
• Develops sales skills, applies learned sales techniques and brings sales conversations to a successful close.
• Learns retail operations and supports complaint handling, event preparation and the implementation of sales-promoting activities.
• Gains insight into merchandise management processes and learns to understand and manage commercial processes using key figures.
• Develops professionally and personally through regular training and continually builds competencies.
• Takes part in a project offering the opportunity to step into the role of a manager and gain initial leadership experience.
• Receives additional instruction at the Bundesfachschule für Parfümerie, deepening specialist knowledge of fragrance and cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Enjoys selling and direct customer interaction, approaches people proactively, advises customers competently and aims to create a positive shopping experience.
• Enthusiastic about the beauty and perfumery sector, with an interest in current trends, products and developments in beauty and fragrance and a passion for the assortment.
• Communicates in a friendly, confident and persuasive manner and understands customers’ individual preferences and needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, performance and accountability; supports colleagues, reliably takes responsibility for tasks and is motivated to achieve shared goals.
• Has a basic understanding of commercial relationships and processes and works in an organised, conscientious and solution-oriented manner on operational tasks.
• Has successfully completed school and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and motivation to develop professionally and personally.
