Role & Responsibilities

• Learn to use a personal tablet provided at the start of the apprenticeship and used throughout the training period.
• Learn assortment and materials management to provide customers with expert, individual advice on products.
• Develop sales skills, apply sales techniques, and bring sales conversations to a successful close.
• Learn sales operations and support complaint handling, event preparation, and the implementation of sales-promotional activities.
• Gain insight into merchandise management processes and learn to understand and manage commercial processes using key figures.
• Develop professionally and personally through regular training and continuously build competencies.
• Take part in a project that offers the opportunity to step into a manager’s role and gain initial leadership experience.
• Attend additional classes at the Bundesfachschule für Parfümerie to deepen specialist knowledge of fragrances and cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Enjoy selling and direct customer contact, approach people proactively, advise customers competently, and help create a positive shopping experience.
• Show enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industries, with an interest in current trends, products, and developments.
• Communicate in a friendly, confident, and persuasive manner, with an understanding of individual customer preferences and needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, a performance-oriented mindset, and a sense of responsibility; support colleagues, reliably take ownership of tasks, and work toward shared goals.
• Have a basic understanding of commercial relationships and processes, and work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented way on organisational tasks.
• Have successfully completed school and bring a strong willingness to learn and motivation for professional and personal development.
